A “strategic dialogue” with Britain was postponed by Israel as a sign of protests over “defence and security issues”, reported by the BBC.

AFP mentioned these protests are also on how “a law which allows British courts to prosecute visiting Israeli officials for alleged war crimes”. UK’s Foreign Secretary William Hague delivered the  news after an official visit to Israel.

The Israeli anger was originated when the Israeli former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni was given an arrest warrant that was issued through the UK courts, in December last year. This warrant was granted at the requirement of Palestinian paintiffs, the BBC reports.
